Allan de la Plante DTM

De la Plante felt there were few times in his professional career that he totally enjoyed his subject and it's challenges, but the time he spent shooting the stage musical Les Miserables there was never a time that he did not enjoy the sounds and sights up on the stage.  He has experienced 88 performances and looks forward to the 89th!

The images de la Plante was able to produce often turned out like old paintings.  There was very little light to help capture an image, but when it happened it astounded him and many other professionals that thought the scenes couldn't be caught without flash.  At the time the film was not quick enough to produce crisp images without difficulty.  The images are like old masters paintings and are like old friends he enjoys constantly.
