Allan de la Plante DTM

             The second coming for de la Plante and Gilles Villeneuuve was after de la Plante had finished his book 'Flame of Courage-the Canadian Firefighter' He applied for a visa to research and shoot a book on American firefighters with a working title 'Into the Eye of the Storm - the American Firefighter'.  The day he got his visa to start his run through the states he got a letter from an English publisher asking if he was interested in re-issuing his 1982 release 'Villeneuve'.  When he contacted the publisher de la Plante said he wanted to include a fully-interactive CD-ROM with the new book.  The publisher simply said 'What's a CD-ROM?'  Before de la Plante knew it he was doing a second book on Gilles Villeneuve, not with the English publisher, but on his own.  The work won the bronze medal in the 'newmedia invision awards' over almost 600 entries!  There are still a few copies of this book, so if it is one you don't have in your collection, you can for only $60.00.  Please contact Allan.
